Chenille and Burlap, I am crazy for textures. They are so visually interesting. I often sew leaving raw frayed seams adding interest to every project. I have a serger but only use it on select projects. Quilting raw seams down is much more fun! When i stopped striving for perfection in a project I began to sew with zeal liking how every creation turned out. Letting the fabric do what it wished to do. Fabric has a mind of its own much like watercolor. They are hard to control so stop trying. I did and am addicted to sewing creating and remaking.
