Slip SInSation a sew wild projects

I
I live in tank tops all summer long. It gets hot in the south and I glisten with pleasure at the Summer days and nights.  I never want them to end. My sewing project is to make fun flirty tops that look like a mini dresses to show off my golden curves and my ability to Sew wild.
I like to reuse old tshirts by sewing them together and constructing them with the help of a sewing pattern pieces. I slightly alter the pattern to my liking. Sewing can be free and wild if you dare.

ZooMe

I found the grounds at the Asheboro Zoo to be as photogenic as the animals and sightseers. I had my new lens on my Nikon and will now let the images do all the talking.

Clothing line clothesline of upcycled altered tshirts by Wise Sewcial Ties on Etsy. This summer has been fun. My children are so great at allowing me to work/sew while they are on their summer break. This set of dresses where made one Friday morning with the beach on my mind and in my heart. The beach print tshirts are all reused old cast off clothing. All my clothing fit me a plus size curvy modern bohemian gypsy. Can I add more ways to describe my personality? The answer is yes. I am a Florida native who has been transplanted to the Carolina's. I hope you will take the time to see all the other upcycled goodies I have stitched for myself and for the enjoyment of others.

Someone's Baby Babydoll dress recycled Upcycled layers layering look.

I find that a baby doll dress top is a layering basic. It has the ability to soften your look. It can be so interesting peeking below your top layer and is a fun way to still wear a mini dress over jeans at 40.

Recycling can be fun if you just wing it!
I simply use my old clothing that no longer fits and experiment with texture length and color.

Dolls and Dress Up

Im crazy about Dolls.  I am lucky to have two girls and a niece whom also enjoy dolls and dress up time.  This is my latest doll with reclaimed knit hair.  I hand stitch the hair.  Her face is hand painted.  I am a painter and enjoy using my paint brushes as much as possible.  I have found that my children allow me to paint with out trying to get involved in my canvas.  I set up their own paper and paints if they are interested in painting along side me.
I  use modern and reclaimed fabrics to keep it Eco Chic yet fresh and playful.  Making a matching dress for your little one and her doll is so rewarding, trendy  and yet timeless.  Having a professional photograph the moment will be your little ones favorite scrapbook page! A doll at any age is the most perfect girl gift.
